There are so many students that dream to study abroad, but they soon abandon their desires, as they don’t manage to find financial support for their studies. They probably don’t know there is a large spectrum of scholarships in all domains, available in Europe. These scholarships are distributed at European, national, then regional and institutional levels. Students are often uninformed about these great opportunities and they give up finding help, therefore they give up their dreams.
There are many online platforms providing information on scholarships offered for studying in different European countries.
For instance, there are the Italian Government Scholarships for Foreign Students. With this type of scholarship, one has the chance to study in Italy, for three, six or nine months. The scholarships are available for University degree courses, art and music courses, Master degree courses, specialization schools, courses on Italian language and more.
The deadline to apply for the scholarships is May 28, 2014.
Germany is another country one can choose for studying abroad. Many universities in Germany offer study programs recognized all over the world, at a cheaper fare that the UK, for example, or other European countries.
What is interesting is that there are several German political foundations offering scholarships for students, such as The Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, The Friedrich Naumann Stiftung, The Konrad Adenauer Foundation or The Rosa Luxemburg Foundation. Scholarships are granted to both undergraduate and graduate students, on different criteria. There are also religious foundations offering financial support for students.
Like these scholarships available in Italy and Germany, there are many others available in European countries, such as Holland, Finland, France, Spain and other countries. You just have to focus your search on a particular country or type of scholarship and you will find many opportunities.
